
I've always wanted to make the kind of chocolate cookies the cookie monster would chase me half way around the world for crunchy chocolate pieces in soft dough baked to golden perfection.
My secret? Hazelnut meal in place of some flour.
Ingredients:
200g unsalted butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup wholemeal flour
1/2 cup plain four
1/2 cup self raising flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup ground hazelnuts
1 1/2 cup chocolate chips
